Little Oscar Knox has lived out much of his short life in the public eye and today he is in the thoughts of us all as he enters the Children's Hospice.

Seldom has a child's brave battle against an aggressive form of cancer so captured the attention of the public and we all pray that his remarkable parents Leona and Stephen and loving sister Izzie are given the same courage as Oscar has displayed to face the trials of the coming weeks.

Oscar has been an inspiration to all who have followed his story and especially those fortunate enough to meet him.

His winning smile and indomitable spirit are humbling to those of us who sometimes bemoan our misfortunes which pale in comparison to his problems.
