Our politicians' views on the 'little issues' well worth read
Politics is a serious business, but in today's paper we report on the results of a light-hearted survey of some politicians' views on everyday subjects.
Most do not have a good word about Donald Trump, though one likes the movie Forrest Gump. Their culinary tastes range from seafood to steak, chips, lasagne and Chinese food. Some reveal hobbies and most, though not all, know the price of milk.
They disclose a little-known fact about themselves, and all have their own ideas about politics and how much MLAs earn.
Does this make them more human? That's for our readers - and the voters - to decide.
