Our thoughts are still with brave little Oscar's family
It is hard to believe that two years have elapsed since the death of brave little Oscar Knox.
The five-year-old united people from every background in Northern Ireland in his determination to fight against neuroblastoma, a rare childhood cancer that eventually claimed his life.
Yesterday his mother said, movingly, that her heart is "still in a million tiny pieces".
This is understandable, because the death of a child is one of the greatest traumas that any parent and any family can face.
Our thoughts are with the Knox family, and it is inspiring to know the memory of brave little Oscar lives on - and will continue to do so.
