Par excellence ... golfer Billy still on top of his game at 92 takes on golf course
Some of the world's greatest golfers have assembled at Portstewart for the Dubai Duty Free Irish Open tournament.
But even these legends of the game would have to doff their caps to Billy Gilchrist, who won the Larne Golf Club monthly medal competition at the ripe old age of 92.
Age has clearly proved no handicap to this veteran.
According to the old chestnut, golf is a good walk spoiled, but Billy credits it with keeping him in good health thanks to the fresh air and exercise he gets around the course.
No matter who wins the Irish Open, which finishes on Sunday, Billy is the most incredible golf story of the week.
