People can scoff but power of prayer means much to faithful

It may not be fashionable or cool in our modern society for young people to speak with real zeal about the power of faith. The negative reaction by some on social media to Donaghadee teenager Joshua Martin's testimony on how prayers helped cure him of cancer reinforced that view.

So the decision by model and teacher Rachelle Liggett to relate her own incredible recovery from aggressive cancer and attribute it in large part to prayer, as well as the skill of the medical team treating her, is both courageous and inspiring. People are free to debunk faith if they wish, but they should never cast doubt on the sincerity of believers.
