Queen's been such positive influence on our province

The Queen at the Giant's Causeway is an iconic image of the United Kingdom - its most recognisable figurehead beside a natural wonder. Whatever her private thoughts about the furore that has followed the Brexit vote, Her Majesty seemed in particularly relaxed mood during her two-day visit to the province, which included a train journey she first took as a young woman.

She has always shown her deep affection for Northern Ireland and that has been repaid by the many people who turn out to welcome her every time. There have been many changes here during her reign, but her influence has helped create a more positive place.
