Rachael's wedding upholds century-old family tradition

Bride Rachael Gamble had no doubt what would be the 'old' element on her wedding day this week. It was the 18th Century St Catherine's Church inside the RAF base in Co Antrim where she became the fifth generation of her family to be married there. It was a touching recognition of her family history, keeping alive a tradition dating back more than a century.

Any girl's wedding day is supposed to be special and Rachael certainly made sure by this gesture that her marriage to Stuart Alexander fitted the bill. We wish the couple good luck on their life together and who knows, perhaps one day a sixth generation will walk up the aisle of this church.
