Real-life fairy tale of £58-a-week to tens of millions

So often life is stranger than fiction, as demonstrated in the story of the unemployed Ulster woman who has won a fortune in the Euro lottery.

One moment she was looking for a job and trying to live on the weekly £58 job-seeker's allowance, and the next moment she was in possession of riches beyond comprehension.

The situation was so bad she spent almost her last few pounds on trying the lottery, and against enormous odds was successful.

Her main challenge now is deciding what to do with the money, but given her previous straitened circumstances that is a problem well worth having.
