Rugby legend Willie Anderson's health scare a blessing in disguise

It probably didn't feel like it at the time to former Irish and Ulster rugby star Willie Anderson, but his serious health scare at the weekend was a blessing in disguise.

When he collapsed at a schools rugby game he thought he was suffering a coronary. It was only when he was rushed to hospital and examined that it was discovered he had a previously unknown underlying cardiac problem that greatly heightened his risk of a stroke. Now he is to undergo corrective surgery. An added bonus is that the school where he is a PE teacher and rugby coach has made it through to the next round of the competition. All's well that ends well.
