Rylee's recovery proves that miracles can happen
The parents of Rylee Brady, the Belfast baby born with a rare form of cancer, were devastated by the diagnosis and went through months of agony not knowing if he would need chemotherapy or if indeed he would survive such treatment. Indeed, it took the remarkable skills of medical staff here and in Birmingham to keep the tiny infant alive.
But then something even more remarkable occurred; the tumour began to shrink of its own accord and after eight months Rylee was declared free of the disease. Now aged one, the little boy is just like any other child of his age. His parents' tears of fear have been replaced with tears of joy at this marvellous outcome.
