Shocking treatment of this teacher must stop now

It almost beggars belief that a school teacher should be subject to the pressure which has been applied to Dr Annabel Scott, the head of Crumlin Integrated College.

She has been forced to leave her home because of threats, apparently from disgruntled parents. During the past three years her ability as a teacher and principal has been questioned, but nothing excuses the personal trauma she has undergone.

It is intolerable that anyone should have their life and well-being jeopardised in this manner and the police must act to determine who is behind the latest threats and bring them to justice. This woman has done her best over a long career for the school and, whatever the concerns of parents in later years, there are proper procedures which should be followed and adhered to.

Bully-boy tactics cannot be allowed to succeed.
