Soaring commuter charges must be brought to a halt
The cost of commuting and parking varies greatly across Northern Ireland, but the one common factor is that the charges are increasing.
One of the most expensive journeys is a round trip from Belfast to Newry at £26 daily, including a parking fee.
Most people are hard-pressed financially and there is no cheer on a bleak January Monday to face increased costs, including parking charges at stations, and on the streets of Belfast and elsewhere.
Workers need help too and not just glib comments from transport and parking providers when already high costs are steadily increasing.
