Tattooed great gran right not to worry what others th-ink
Sadie Sellers certainly is a feisty great grandmother. The 79-year-old Londonderry woman caused quite a stir when she nipped out of her care home with her granddaughter to get a tattoo inked on her left arm. And her response when asked what her family might think of her escapade left no one in any doubt that she knows her own mind and is not worried about other people's opinions.
At her age people are entitled to some latitude. They have put in the years thinking about others' welfare and now is the time to indulge themselves. Sadie may be growing old disgracefully, but what's the harm in that as long as no one else is offended?
