Terminally ill Paul's interview both humbling and inspiring
In today's paper we carry an interview with Paul McGill, who for a decade was a first-rate education correspondent with the Belfast Telegraph.
Paul was a true professional who reported with skill, insight and great integrity.
He was always a man of his word, and people who agreed or disagreed with his views always respected him. Paul is now suffering from a terminal illness, but he is doing so with a positive attitude, and entirely without self-pity.
He shows courage and great maturity, and his interview today is both humbling and inspiring.
It also helps to put all of our daily worries into a very different perspective.
