The right direction

The musical phenomenon One Direction is coming to Belfast this week for four packed concerts in the Odyssey Arena, and older people might benefit from learning more about a group which entrances the younger generation.

Our special feature today outlines a few things you might need to know about them. For example their debut single sold five million copies and they attract an average of 21,000 new fans a day on Twitter. This might not make older people feel more inclined to sign up to their Twitter account, but knowing more about One Direction has one great advantage — you will no longer sound like an old ‘square’ to your kids and grandchildren.
