Time is running out for death row Shetland pony Rusty

Editor's Viewpoint

Published 11/08/2015

Rusty the Shetland pony stallion is on death row through no fault of his own. His only crime was being abandoned and he will be put down tomorrow unless one of our kind-hearted and animal-loving readers can offer him a new home. We know there are huge pressures on charities and councils to deal with all kinds of stray animals and that unfortunately some end up being humanely killed.

But Rusty could be the answer to some child's dreams of owning a pony. Could you show him a little love and a secure paddock to run about in? Then lift the phone and offer him a last-minute reprieve.
