Truly remarkable recovery of Justine warms the heart

Despite the gloom generated by many current events, there are also many inspiring stories to lift the heart. A good example is that of Lurgan teenager Justine McConville.

The 16-year-old has made a remarkable recovery after being knocked down and nearly killed in July.

With great courage - and with the skillful help of medical staff - she has made it back from death's door.

Justine is now at home and she is looking forward to resuming her A-level studies in January.

This is great news, and how lovely are the pictures today of brave Justine smiling beside her proud mother.
