Northern Ireland may not always have a great reputation, but the warmth of the welcome from the people here has remained undiminished over the years.

Just ask Victor Humphreys, who has made a nostalgic trip back to the place where he was an apprentice at Shorts in the 1960s.

He came back to meet old colleagues, but also two sisters who had shared a Sunday stroll with him around Stormont in 1965. They got their photograph taken then on the steps of Parliament Buildings and this time around recreated the image. Sometimes it is the little things in life and simple acts of friendship which endure the longest in the memory.
