James Nesbitt missed out on a Bafta
James Nesbitt missed out on a Bafta

The results of this year’s Bafta awards contain good and bad news for Northern Ireland.

The good news is that Stephen Rea has won the award for the Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Honourable Woman. The bad news is that Jimmy Nesbitt failed to win the award for the Best Actor, but he was facing stiff

opposition in that very tough category.

People here will be delighted for Stephen, but at the same time they will be sorry for Jimmy.

What more does he have to do, after that incredible performance in The Missing?

This is clearly a case of the “missing” Bafta...
