Windsor centre is a fitting tribute to football heroes
The opening of the Education and Heritage Centre in the national football stadium at Windsor Park is a fitting tribute to the outstanding record of our football heroes.
Some of the greatest players in football history including George Best, Pat Jennings and others have brought great honour to their native province.
So too have the national sides, including the squads which did so well at World Cups in Sweden and Spain, and last year at the Euros in France. We also boast some great managers including Michael O'Neill. It is most appropriate that the names of all these people and their achievements are recorded for posterity in this way.
