Young achievers

The achievements of our young people never fail to amaze as the stories of just a few of them in this newspaper today attest. Five cousins have all graduated in medicine from Queen's University, an incredible family achievement by any standards, and another young girl is set to tour the world in a high-flying role for one of the country's leading supermarket chains.

They, along with thousands of graduates from our two universities, deserve to have their success trumpeted far and wide, for they are exactly the sort of people that inward investors are looking for - talented, hard-working and giving added value to their chosen occupations. It is on people like them that our economic recovery will be built and a better Northern Ireland created.
