I've got to stop taking the tablets

First there were Crackberries, then there was phubbing.

I've never really been one for New Year's Resolutions but this year I'm planning to spend a little less time with my phone, tablet, e-reader and laptop.

I've become a serial phubber, that very 2013 term for spending too much time glued to your gadget while ignoring someone trying to have a conversation with you.

I only joined Twitter to spend more time with my husband (the original Crackberry of our household) and now I'm trapped.

I find it impossible to sit still without wondering what's going on on my phone, even in the middle of the night.

So wish me well as I go cold turkey. You can follow my progress on Twitter.
