£100bn Trident spend a waste

REPLACING the Trident nuclear deterrent would cost an estimated £100bn. This is a huge waste of money for a weapon that will probably never be used.

Labour is adamant that renewal will go ahead and the SNP that it won't.

They can let the decision wither on the vine by not putting the issue to a vote in parliament.

This would save face for Ed Miliband, give the British people a £100bn reprieve from austerity, and allow existing submarines to age into decommissioning.
