Councillor Nelson, in her letter to the Belfast Telegraph on November 4,
claims that the link between the Conservative Party and the Ulster Unionist
Party will ultimately strengthen the union and will ultimately provide a

Nothing 'British' about Iris and her colleagues
Tuesday, 3 November 2009
I was particularly interested to read (Write Back, October 31), Iris Robinson
and her DUP colleague's opposition to the dilution of Britishness in this
part of the United Kingdom and the vast common shared aspects, such as
history, identity and culture, between Northern Ireland and Great Britain. I
completely agree.
