A simple handkerchief stops spread of germs
Recently, I watched again the blood donor episode of the great BBC comedy Hancock's Half Hour.
While in a waiting room of the hospital, Hancock recites aloud from wall poster: "Coughs and sneezes spread diseases, trap your germs in your handkerchief."
Now the season of colds and flu has arrived, unfortunately, many people do not follow that sound advice in public places such as pubs, restaurants and transport.
Such behaviour means they potentially render the efforts of others to protect their health less effective.
