A5 inquiry was huge waste of time and cash

The Assembly appears to have decided that the A5 dualling is going to proceed before the public inquiry has even reported.

In other words, it appears that what has been denied all along was true, and that the public enquiry was window dressing, a waste of time and money.

So much for election vows of the UUP when Mr Elliott said he'd block the project - his minister will now promote it. If the above is true, then the expenses of the objectors were wasted and the Government should meet them.
