Abortion is a better choice than adoption

Unable to challenge the very sound reasons why the law was changed in 1967 to provide safe, legal abortions, the self-styled 'pro-life' lobby seeks to scare women by laying emphasis on something they call 'post-abortion trauma'.

And yet they will then calmly go on to advocate adoption as a solution to unwanted pregnancies.

What blind hypocrisy. Have they any idea what it's like to hand your baby over to strangers?

I went through that many years ago, when I handed over my baby for adoption. The agony and trauma of that have never left me.

I feel a sense of outrage now at those who would condemn women to such a fate.
