Abortion pills trio’s actions totally wrong

Published 30/05/2016

It is regrettable that the abortion pills trio seem to be receiving some level of public support for their actions.

In pursuit of their so-called "pro-choice" ideology, they illegally import and dispense medication that, even in the countries where its use is sanctioned, is available only on prescription to be used under medical supervision.

What the three are doing - and the others who do likewise - endangers women's health and lives.

Were they to behave in this manner in relation to any other powerful and potentially lethal prescription drug, they would be (rightly) excoriated.

To praise their illegal and dangerous behaviour in this case is to prioritise ideology over common sense.
