Age NI is here to help you on welfare reform

Published 17/05/2016

The Age NI Advice Service receives more than 12,000 calls from older people, their carers and families.

Recently, we’ve noticed a rise in calls about changes taking place to the benefits system as a result of welfare reform in Northern Ireland.

Many people are concerned and confused about these changes — what they are and how they will be affected.

Too often, people don’t know who to turn to for help, or advice. At Age NI, our team of experienced advisors are ready to listen and can help to take the confusion out of welfare reform.

We provide a free benefits check, helping people to find out about the support they are entitled to and we can also assist people to apply.

Our service is available to everyone in Northern Ireland on Freephone 0808 808 7575 and is confidential.
