The flight from Liverpool John Lennon's Airport to Belfast International on November 17, due to leave at 7.45pm, eventually left at 00.20am the next morning, because the original pilot was unwell and a replacement had to be drafted in from Bristol Airport.
I contacted EasyJet on November 19 to register a claim and they agreed that they had breached regulation EC261/2004 and they have refunded me €250.
I'm left thinking if I hadn't complained, would they have contacted me with this compensation?
There were 170 passengers on board travelling back to Belfast and further passengers waiting at Belfast for the return flight back to Liverpool. Would you highlight the EasyJet compensation that they are willing to pay?
