An open letter to Trevor Ringland

Dear Trevor, I was interested to read your article in the Belfast Telegraph (Comment, October 5). I can understand your frustration with the Ulster Unionist Party.

They show no interest in having a shared identity and are advancing rapidly into the past.

I joined the Alliance Party when it was formed and have been very impressed with the strides it has made to develop a shared, integrated society.

I am certain you would find a most receptive home in Alliance.
