Angry that Doak flew white flag

Published 22/05/2015

I refer to Tony Ward's comments on Ulster's strategy against Glasgow on Saturday past (Sport, May 19).

I am one of the "unforgiving fans" and attended the game - at considerable expense. I am a senior citizen and travel to all of the home games and most of the away games and have done so for many years.

If I had known that Neil Doak was going to throw in the towel before a ball was kicked at Scotstoun, I would not have travelled.

I doubt very much if any of the other provinces would have waved the white flag. They have pride - a quality that is sadly lacking in Ulster rugby.
