Another apology needed over gig

Published 27/10/2015

While the SSE Arena, One Direction's representatives and Aiken Promotions have apologised profusely to let-down fans of the band, following last Tuesday's concert cancellation, little has been said to others affected.

Belfast Giants fans and, to a lesser extent, Sheffield Steelers fans have received a small apology. However, the Ulster Business School also had an event cancelled and, as far as I am aware, has received no public apology.

The networking event was to allow students to meet with 50 companies who offer graduate employment opportunities.

Although sport and music (if you can call it that) is important for the local economy, aren't graduate opportunities more important from a macro point of view? Why have business students not received an apology?
