Anti-abortion protesters must not cloud facts

I WAS ambling along Great Victoria Street in Belfast and my interest got piqued by some leaflets casually thrown on the ground.

These were from the anti-legal-abortion (aka pro-life) protesters standing outside the Marie Stopes clinic. The usual nonsense about abortion causing breast cancer (it doesn't) and being very dangerous (safer than driving a car) were rehashed. The address on the leaflet belongs to Precious Life.

Some people are understandably against abortion. But do we really need misinformation in debates on serious issues?
