Architect designed more private homes

Published 09/09/2016

Your article on Torre Blanca, the house designed by Adair Roche, states that it is one of only two private houses designed by the architect; not so, there is at least one more in addition to the house built in Windsor Avenue North by Adair Roche in 1961 as a residence for himself and his family.

The third house is the one from which I am writing this letter, number 3 Mornington. It was built in 1961 to plans by Adair Roche in the grounds of a 1906 villa, Redhurst, now demolished.

Are there any more?

D Kennedy,
