Ashers bakery must appeal guilty verdict

Published 29/05/2015

The debate about the Ashers Bakery judgment shows no sign of abating.

Those of us without the benefit of legal training may find it hard to understand how Ashers Bakery is guilty of discrimination on the grounds of sexual orientation. Could it be really that they have been found guilty of refusing to accept the daily juggernaut of propaganda which labels any dissenter as a homophobe, designed to silence any opposing opinion?

Surely the Ashers bakery judgment must, in the public interest, go to appeal in the courts?
