Attack on the Pope protests is out of line

I refer to Gail Walker's article 'The Truth About the Pope's Critics' (Life, September 21).

Among the various groups that protested against the Pope's UK visit were Doctors4Justice, the Council of ex-Muslims of Britain, gay and lesbian groups, Southall Black sisters, Protestant clergy, Catholic clergy, victims of sexual abuse and people from all walks of life including many Catholics.

To describe the groups above who protested at the Pope's visit as bigots and sectarian is dishonest and misleading, Gail. You should rename your article 'The nasty lies about the Pope's critics'.
