Author flags up museum mystery

Published 29/06/2015

Dr David Hume, director of services of the Grand Orange Lodge of Ireland, does not adequately explain why the tricolour does not fly at the new Museum of Orange Heritage. There is, at present, no Grand Lodge of the Irish Republic.

If there was, there would be no excuse for not flying the tricolour. Perhaps that is why there is no separate Grand Lodge for the Irish Republic, as some Orangemen in the Republic would appear to desire.
