BBC's Nolan must let guests be heard

Published 05/11/2015

ON The Nolan Show on Tuesday, presented by Conor Bradford, four callers, including the Rev David McIlveen and Jim Allister, clearly representing a cross-section of society, articulated key issues at the heart of the vote in Stormont to redefine marriage.

Conor Bradford, however, dismissed them as raising "controversial issues" and interrupted with glib references to time running out.

Nevertheless, their profound observations provide substance for a thorough debate.

Highly-paid BBC mouthpieces, take notice.
