Beatles: can we work it out?

I AM researching a book on music locations in Britain. I'm trying to confirm that The Beatles played to 17,500 at Belfast's King's Hall on November 2, 1964.

The King's Hall say a crowd of this size would not fit and that they played twice attracting 8,750 to an early and late show. Can anyone confirm this?
