Bible teachings can't be altered

Published 21/02/2014

I REFER to Andrew McFarland Campbell's letter, 'Marriage is for companionship, not procreation' (Write Back, February 17).

Maybe Mr Campbell would like to read his Bible from the beginning. Then he would read (in Genesis 1: 27-28): 'So God created man in his own image... male and female he created them. And God blessed them. And God said to them, 'Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth...''

Sorry, Andrew, there are many difficult things in God's Word, but we cannot remove them to suit our own views, lifestyle, or culture.
