Colin Nevin (Write Back, February 22) complains that the media is blaming Israel for the extra-judicial killing of Mahmoud al-Mabhouh of Hamas in Dubai.
He would have grounds for complaint if Israel had denied responsibility for the killing - which it hasn't - and if it hadn't a long track-record of extra-judicial killings of Palestinians.
Mr Nevin describes this blaming of Israel as "out-and-out anti-Semitism". But the Israeli Press, which is best-placed to know the truth, is unanimous in its belief that the Israeli intelligence service, Mossad, carried out the killing.
Does he really believe that the Israeli Press is anti-Semitic?
Lastly, Mr Nevin complains that Britain is sending an investigation team to Dubai, but what does he expect our Government to do when - through no fault of their own - fellow citizens are implicated in murder?
Mr Nevin has to question just who is really biased here.
