There have been numerous stories about that pile of stones at the Giant's Causeway. As Dr Johnston said, it's worth seeing, but not worth going to see.
Why not dig up a few tons of the stones and build a visitors' centre with them? That way, visitors would see the stones without having to travel down to the shoreline. Probelm solved.
