Brussels flights needed urgently

Like many others, I welcomed the recent announcement that Aer Lingus and Ryanair are now to operate from Belfast.

However, I was very disappointed to read of the routes planned, many of which are already served from Belfast.

I have family living in Brussels and travel there on a regular basis, but we have the hassle of getting to Dublin airport each time.

On every occasion I travel there are many Northern Ireland people on the Brussels flight who all have the same complaint: "Why are there no direct flights from Belfast to Brussels?"

So, come on Ryanair and Aer Lingus, let's have a couple of flights a week from Belfast to Brussels.
