Why not let Peter Curistan build the Giant's Causeway visitors' centre - for free? (Belfast Telegraph, September 14).

It's a good offer from a reputable businessman with acumen. We spend too much time with red tape and empty talk.

My only request to Mr Curistan, if and when he gets the contract, is that he builds an hotel in the old style, with a big log fire in the foyer to be enjoyed while the rain and wind lash the stones and the windows. It would be a treat.

I wish Mr Curistan and the Sheridan Group every success and good luck to the Northern Ireland Tourist Board and Moyle council in their deliberations.

I can see myself sitting beside the big log and turf fire with an Irish coffee already!
