'Case for God' is not proven

Bpr's curious letter (Write Back, August 2) really does defy logic.

Firstly, not all those decrying creationism are atheists, as he asserts. Many Christians laugh at the pathetic attempts of creationists to justify their belief. Secondly, atheism is the rejection of belief in a supernatural being. It is not a belief in something else.

For atheists, the 'case for God' has not been proven, as no evidence can be found for existence.

While Christian theists reject belief in all other possible gods, atheists reject belief in all of them.
