Catholic Church is a cold house for outsiders

Published 02/10/2013

I THOUGHT that Alf McCreary, with his wide knowledge of religious affairs, should have known that he would be unable to receive, or share, communion in a Roman Catholic church, being himself a non-Catholic (Saturday Review, September 28).

The Roman Catholic Church teaches us that it is the true Church and that salvation cannot be found outside that Church.

This is a point that those Protestants seeking unity need to waken up to. The Roman Catholic Church has not changed one doctrine and what it teaches about communion is a million miles away from what the Bible teaches.
