Caught between past and future

The Republic of Ireland is caught between its Roman Catholic past and its secular future, illustrated by the referendum on gay marriage. How the Yes vote effects the Holy Orders remains to be seen.

Would celibate nuns who claimed to be "married to Jesus" now proclaim to be "married to Mary" without fear of rebuke?
