Causeway claim has no evidence

Published 08/10/2012

Doubtless creationists will complain that the Giant's Causeway exhibit now downplays their inane beliefs (News, October 4), but they still have more coverage than they deserve.

The new wording - that some deny the scientific explanation "often for religious reasons" - should have the word "often" deleted, as there are no other reasons for believing the Causeway to have formed 4,500 years ago.

Creationists have no evidence to support their contention.
