Christian voters left in a quandary
That God's will be done on Earth, as it is in Heaven, is a repeated petition by Christians saying the Lord's Prayer.
However, relying on God's love and mercy, we also confidently petition God to "forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive others".
When it comes to marriage, Jesus unequivocally taught God willed, from the beginning of creation, that marriage be a unique, exclusive and indissoluble union between a man and a woman (Mt 19:4). So how is it that some political parties and politicians expect Christian voters to support them when, without even the option of a conscience clause, they propose to supplant God's will, by introducing their own man-made, false redefinition of marriage?
